Mark sent these pictures after seeing Growing Up In Dudley featured in the Black Country Bugle…
“Two of them are dated 4th August 1968 and the one (with the circular bear enclosure) is dated even earlier from April 1961 taken from days out at Dudley Zoo in the early days.
This was even before they had the Killer Whale which they had for a bit in the late seventies I believe.
I think the Pink Flamingos and the chair lift would still have been there way back then as those attractions seemed always to be there!”
